The H. Ästhuvud is a fully hand-carved violin with an aged, solid spruce top and flamed maple back and sides, finished in a warm brown, hand-rubbed antique varnish. Premium Grenadilla-wood fittings, a carbon-fiber tailpiece with built-in micro-adjusters, and geared tuning pegs make it remarkably stable and easy to tune — a refined step-up instrument for the advancing player.
