The REAN NYS229 is a commercial open-frame 1/4" (6.35 mm) mono phone jack—the input or output jack you mount on a guitar, amplifier, pedal enclosure, or project box. Two poles, two contacts, non-switched, with a nickel finish and brass contacts. Made by REAN, Neutrik's value line, it's the dependable, economical jack techs reach for again and again.
Open-Frame, Non-Switched Design
- 2-pole (TS): tip and sleeve for unbalanced mono signal—the standard for instruments and amps.
- Non-switched: no internal switch contact, so the signal path stays simple and dependable.
- Open frame: easy to solder and inspect, with generous 0.205" faston/solder tabs.
- Panel mount: includes washer and nut and fits panels up to 3.5 mm thick.
