One end is a 3.5mm stereo (TRS) plug that goes into a phone, tablet or laptop; the other end splits into two standard 1/4" mono plugs that go into two channels of a mixer, powered speaker or interface — left and right, in real stereo, with no stack of adapters wobbling out the back of the board.
