Music In the Square

Call for Musicians!

Corning's Gaffer District and Marich Music Inc. have openings for talented performers to join our entertainment series on the Centerway Square Stage on Historic Market Street entitled "Music in the Square".

We have openings through September 2008, (weather conditions permitted of course since we are an outdoor venue).  This is an Open Call for musicians and other performance artists who want exposure in a location that is becoming the outdoor entertainment center in the downtown district. 

Performers will be paid monetarily and will benefit in the following ways:

• Exposure in an environment with a professional crowd of in town office workers, tourists and visitors.
• Location opportunity is adjacent to Corning's most visited museums and tourist attractions.
• Easily accessed and secure parking onsite.
• Artists are welcome to self-promote during performances.

Performance times:

• Centerway Lunchtime Music performance times are Monday thru Friday 12 pm - 1 pm and Saturday 12 pm - 1:30pm.
• Centerway Evening Music performance times are Monday thru Saturday, 6:30pm-8:00pm
